The Yamaha EX is a rec-lite WaveRunner with a ~90 hp 1.0L three-cylinder. It is lighter and easier to handle for a first ski day, with a top speed in the 45–50 mph class. Rated for 1–2 riders and 353 lb, with a 13.2-gal tank, lanyard, and reboarding step. Base price is one rider; a passenger is an add-on for that time slot.
Full-size WaveRunner
Fuel included
The Yamaha VX is a full-size WaveRunner with a ~125 hp 4-stroke and more storage for a passenger. Top speed is about 54 mph, with reverse and a calmer two-up ride than the EX. Rated for up to 3 riders and 529 lb, with an 18.5-gal tank. Base price is one rider; a second rider uses the extra passenger fee.
